I forgot to mention that the apple/radish/tomato hat is too small for Sam, so it will go to someone else. No biggie. I'm happy to report that I've started on my second gigantic sock, as part of the journey towards fuzzy footdom. So now I'm just hoping that the two turn out to be the same size and shape. I'm very proud that the first one looks exactly like everyone else's "before" pictures. It's my first project knit entirely on DPNs.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload a blasted photo. Arrgh. I'll keep trying, as I have access to a scanner while I'm here and I want to scan absolutely everything I can get my crafty hands on. "Ooh, look! A pretty button! You know, I could scan that..."
