Ah-choo!

I may be feeling terrible because of allergies, but I'm pretty pleased that I can make myself comfortable on the couch under a handmade blanket and my little handmade quilt, with handmade wool socks on -- a happy cat curled up on my legs and a new Knitty online. Could be worse.

(I'll tell ya what I want to knit from Knitty later, once I've had a good look. Whah-choo -- oh, pardon me -- gonna make?)

Hope you feel better! Sounds like you have one hell of a great coping mechanism though, what with being surrounded by lovely handmade and cute Mooky to keep you company :)

Oh and Lori Z., are allergies a Southern California thing? hmm.. maybe there IS a solution for me other than Claritin - moving upstate! haha.

Very nice Fall issue of Knitty! I think Tussie-mussie, Muir and Foliage look like good places to start.

Hope a little Mooky and a warm blanket will have you right as rain soon.

Feel better!! (Although if you have to be sick, you sound pretty well set up!) I really like Roam, Tussie Mussie, Foliage and Henry - oh Henry! Good man-scarves are hard to come by, I love the looks of that one.

I like Tussie Mussie and Henry, but I'd make Henry into a baby blanket for my favorite baby...Henry!! :)

Oh the ideas...

I have already ordered the yarn for Cheri Amour, and the Diamond Waffle socks are PERFECT for some yarn my bro-in-law wants making up for Christmas. Then, when I am feeling brave I really need Tussie Mussie, and when I decide that really there aren't enough blankets in the world (1 just off the needles, one on, and 2 quilts in production) I shall make totally autumn. So many lovelies, so little time.

I'm liking the sock patterns, Muir, and Henry. I'm surprised Boxed made it into this issue though--that couldn't be a flattering sweater on anyone!
