Serves me right

I was working on my term paper over the weekend, and I figured I could get it done and handed in on Monday, as planned, but then I thought it would be nice to have a couple of extra days to make sure it was really good. So I got an extension till Wednesday, and slacked off on Sunday evening. And then I woke up Monday morning with a cold and a throat infection. And today I feel a little worse. And now this paper is due tomorrow, and all I want to do is get back into bed. And I'm supposed to be on holiday, but I haven't finished my paper. Arrrgh.

The good news is that I finished knitting all three pairs of Xmas-gift socks, and they're now in the mail to the North Pole, so that Santa can deliver them next week. So it's not that I can't finish things, it's just that I can't finish this paper.

Sending happy, non-sick, paper-finishing vibes your way ...

finished up last week, thank God. I am always sick after the term ends, just when I can go to bed early without neglecting my schoolwork -- but might actually be able to have some fun.
On the plus side, you can maintain your rep as a knitter easily as you have now established it. It is not necessary to actually knit socks every year. Every two, or in advanced cases, every five, will do it.
Get well soon -- I am sick home from work right now and not enjoying it.

Gah, homework karma! Reading these posts in order, I feel a sense of mounting tension. Will she finish on time?
