FYI

Again, this may have been cargo on a bandwagon I missed a year or two ago, but just in case... Vulture, Bronx Zoo (scroll sideways for the free pattern). I'm feeling a completely impractical, illogical desire to knit this sweater.

Speaking of knitting (and, possibly, of impractical) I have embarked on a journey involving lace knitting, charcoal-gray alpaca, and the gorgeous Nancy Bush pattern that is Madli's shawl (from Interweave Knits, summer 2004). Last night I cast on and knit two (!) rows. Wish me luck -- but don't hold your breath for the results. :)
