Bill and I went to Stratford yesterday afternoon to see The Lark, starring Amanda Plummer as Joan of Arc. It was excellent -- if you can get to Stratford sometime in the next month or so, I highly recommend it.

Of course, I couldn't completely shake the unreasonable-but-real feeling that Ms. Plummer may suddenly break out of character, pull out a gun, jump up on a table, and start screaming obscenities, or else whip off her shirt to reveal bruised flesh and chains and, well, start screaming obscenities. So that was a little distracting.
