It's a gray, windy, rainy, grody day. As a result, all I want to do is knit my scrapbuster socks. Knitting on crappy days is lovely enough, but the colours! I've run out of green mini-ringel and switched to blue; I did a short-row heel with the Confetti jacquard and then switched to the purple Opal; and when that particular ball of Patons paint box ran out I switched to camel-coloured Regia silk. Another great thing about these socks is that you can make them as long as you want. I'm going to knit the legs longer than I usually do, since as it stands, I have no handknit socks that are long enough to wear with my boots. Oh, and I'm doing the leg in 2-by-2 ribbing.
I guess I could've just taken a picture, eh?
