When I get around to knitting myself a winter hat sometime in the hopefully near future, which should I make? I said I'd make a Bucket-o-Chic, and I was eyeing some dark red wool/alpaca and a matching ball of mohair at the yarn shop yesterday. The Kittyville hat, on the other hand, was a reason to start knitting for me; I've had my eye on that pattern for a year. But wait, there's more: I've developed serious knitcrushes on both GlitterKitty's blue pixie hat and Tipper's cable helmet.

Oh, and I need a scarf, too. But that's a whole other ball of yarn, as they say.
