Two photos

First, here's the finished Marsan watchcap:



The yarn I used (called Australian Cable) wasn't quite worsted weight. I cast on 112 stitches (on a 4.5mm circ) in red and then switched to gray. The hat is stretchy and toasty. After Christmas, I can tell you who I made it for.

And second, here's a closeup of the fabric of 2L's Xmas socks:



This yarn (Kid merino superwash) is super soft. I want to make myself a pair of socks or gloves (or a head-to-toe bodysuit) with it. I'm nearly done 2L's socks, so I'll show you a photo of those in the next day or two. I'm still getting used to this digital camera concept: take a photo now, and put it on the Net...now!
