It's incredibly warm today -- must be over 20 degrees! Some people are wearing shorts out there. I must admit, though, that it gives me a bit of a sense of dread. Days like this are so rare, and the hint that summer is coming sends a shudder down my spine. Summer in Taipei! I didn't know hot and sweaty before coming here. But today, today alone is beautiful. Seems that New Zealand banned knitting in Parliament last fall. If it was the men who were knitting, yarn would probably be subsidized. And here's a good column from the Guardian about the state of women's body hair. Nothing new, but well written. My crazy hat is still red...
