Rhinebeck recovery

I've been home for 33 hours, and I've slept for 21 of them. Rhinebeck was freaking exhausting, I tell you.

No big recap from me; basically, I was happy about the people I saw there (lots!), sad about the people I didn't see (too many!), and way too cold to go to the Ravelry party on Saturday night. I bought two skeins of yarn (one sock, one lace) and a bumper sticker that says "Make Gloves, Not War."

And now I need to disappear for a little while. The deadline for my thesis proposal is rearing its head in my airspace, and I have a paper to write for a conference that's only two weeks away. It's time to buckle down. I'll be knitting a bit and posting progress on Ravelry, but I need to stay away from blogging until I get on top of my school work. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I just had a very productive meeting with my advisor and need to buckle down on my proposal, too. Hey, at least it's a good time of year to be holed up with books, coffee, and the computer.

Sounds like Rhinebeck was fun.

Good luck with your thesis and presentation. I shudder at the thought of a thesis. Luckily my master's doesn't require one. I will miss your blogging in the meantime.

I hope your proposal writing goes well!

Some day, I will get to Rhinebeck. I'm crossing my fingers for next year.

good luck on your proposal, I'm finishing my master's essay up and it's sucking up all of my knitting time :-(.

Good luck on your thesis proposal! Do you have to write something and give a presentation? (That's what I had to do).
Glad that you had fun at Rhinebeck :)

Luck to you-but I think you probably need quiet time more than luck. Just use that brain, Lady! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Good luck with your thesis! I saw you from afar - but didn't get to say hi. Maybe next year!
