Twist!

The premiere issue of Twist Collective is now online, and it is so exciting! (I've already purchased the pattern for Miriam Felton's Cleite shawl. But the socks! And the sweaters! Fabulous.)

I also love that shawl and it is definitely on my wish list! I printed off the free Cat Bordhi Houdini sock to add to my "new ways of knitting a sock" file. Currently doing 2 at a time on one looong needle to try out that method (while doing some charity baby socks and tiny scrap yarn mini socks for gifts so my beloved dpns will stop looking at me reproachfully from my bag). Thanks for the link. The anticipation has been fun!

can someone tell me how you view that on a mac? cause safari isn't working you can see some text and a few pictures and with firefox it looks like a nightmare with even less stuff. Perhaps i'll just have to wait til i'm near a PC someday to view this thing. Otherwise it looks like they were on to something but need to have a real web designer check their stuff in all browsers cause that's kind of a big problem. blarg.

I got Cleite too!

Piddleloop, I'm on a Mac with Safari and had no problems at all viewing the site. I just checked it out with Firefox and everything looked fine with that too.

Isn't it great? I've been kind of meh about knitting lately, but Twist's got me thinking and queueing and mentally sorting through stash again...

Thanks for the link! I hadn't heard about Twist Collective until I was reading your blog. It looks very promising. I particularly love the "Problem Ladies" and "Swatch It" columns. I signed up for the monthly newsletter right awsy.
