Crosswalking

All is well in Edmonton -- I even ran into a local knitting group in its natural habitat on Wednesday evening! After conferencing all afternoon my colleagues and I were going for dinner at a place just off campus, and as we walked in, one of them said, "Look, Alison! Knitters!" Yay! Hi, T and J!

Above is my Crosswalker sock in progress. The pattern that's coming out is not really what I was expecting, but I like the quick colour changes. It's been a long time since I knit with self-patterning sock yarn -- it's a perfect project for simple on-the-road sock-knitting.

I am normally a lurker, but regular reader of your blog. I was curious as too the sock colour. I really like the way it is coming out.

I'd like to know that too; it's really a nice looking sock!

Yeah, shoot us the color name. I think it looks really cool with that pattern.

Knitters in the wild is a bizarre thing! We have never been to that place before to knit so it was a weird coincidence. Nice to meet you in person!

It was great to meet you the other night! Knitting really is a small world. I'm glad you made some progress on your Crosswalkers.
