Hello, winter!
Snow, snow, snow, knitting, snow, and snow, and then Bill models his one completed Manly Mitt. I really like it, and he does, too. I used four aluminum DPNs (3.25mm), and I held the CC (grey) in my left hand and the MC (black) in my right while knitting. Throw and pick, throw and pick, throw and pick. I redid the top decreases until I was happy with the pattern, and I tried to make a nice star at the top of the thumb, too.
And it's still snowing! I love it.

sadly i have had no snow since saturday (and that was all completely gone by sunday morning anyway). my parents on the other hand have a solid 12 inches on the ground and should get another 5-7 today. dang. i'm so jealous (of them AND you!). bill's manly mitt = very nice! :)
What a great pattern! It's fair isle, but it's not too fussy :)
Nice mitt!
Ohhh - I like those!
That is one handsome mitten!
Thanks for the photos, quite sexy (for mitts). They look very warm and well manly... perhaps with pastel colours it would take on feminine appeal.
*sigh* I need to cast on for these. I have so many projects suddenly piling up. But I *NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED* mittens!!! Gah! Yours are beautiful. I especially like the tip!
Gorgeous mits! They look very warm and cozy - perfect for your winter weather.

They are so cool! I am with you on the snow - it just started coming down here and I couldn't be happier about it!
The manly mitts are devine! I just got an email from a friend in Montreal with lots of snowy pictures. I am quite envious.
Oh, I love two fisted knitting. It's my favorite.
Very nice!
That looks extra warm and snuggly. Do you have a basic pattern that you use and modify to your heart's content?
Turned out great. I love the top.
Tom got a scholarship to come and study at QUT!
Thanks for showing real Canadian winter wear. Beautiful mit. Inspires me to finish my daughter's mitts.
