DONE

I turned in my thesis yesterday. That's it. I finished it. Without the 26-page bibliography, TOC, etc., it was 137 pages. Watching all of those pages come out of the printer was quite a feeling. Mostly I thought, When did I do all of this? My defence is scheduled for August 22, so the next few weeks are pretty much a holiday.

The movers came yesterday and picked up all our stuff. Today we just cleaned up, had junk hauled away, and then went to see Lady in the Water, which I don't recommend. The alarm is set for 4:45 a.m., and we plan to be on the road at 5 so we get to Montreal mid-afternoon; the movers are delivering our stuff at 5 p.m. Ai-yi-yi.
