Three things
1. I presented a paper at a conference in Toronto this week, and it went really well. (It was my first time.)
2. I'm knitting ribbed socks with green Koigu. Now, Rachael sent me this Koigu when I was in Taiwan (for my birthday in 2003, in fact!) -- I first knit it into a too-tight sock, and then I knit half a cowl, but since few things make me as happy on a consistent and ongoing basis as a pair of handknit socks, the Koigu will be socks. Gorgeous, luscious socks.
3. Four words: Canada's Next Top Model. Is anybody else watching this?
This is mostly a knitting blog.
Maximilian was born on Dec. 10, 2010, so for the time being, I'm busy with him while taking a leave of absence from school.
