I'm very excited in a knitting kind of way (knitcited?)! With the wool that I bought for the bulky baby sweater that I'm now not knitting, I'm going to join the Fuzzy Feet Felt-Along! I certainly don't need felted slippers at the moment, but since I'll be able to use my mom's washing machine over the next couple of weeks, I figure it's a good time to start a feltable project. I started knitting Slipper 1 last night, and it's going really well. So I can tackle a felting lesson and a sock-making lesson at the same time. Yay!
I did a quiz from the Guardian today, called How Old Are You Really? And here's what the results said about me:
Some people grow into it but some are just born old. You were probably 74 from the day that you were born.
The Queen Mum is probably more your type than young William but who says you care? It is no bad thing to be getting on a bit -- you have no pretensions to being young and -- let's face it -- you probably get a kick out of letting the (youthful) world go round without you.
OK. First of all, knitting didn't skew my results, as it didn't come up in the quiz. And second, I'm 30! Though, I admit, it's kind of true...Funny, the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that was shot at the Vancouver Public Library just started on TV. I forget what it's called, but I do remember having to stand outside the library for half an hour one day while Ah-nold and crew finished a scene.
